GTA 4 hits Google Maps

GTA 4 hits google mapsGoogle Maps covers everything, even fictional cities! The search giant has teamed up with the gamers at IGN to produce the Grand Theft Auto Big Map, letting you zoom around, track down local landmarks and even add your own discoveries.

Yep, it’s a community-driven discovery mission! Find something interesting in the game, and you can tag it on the map so others can join in too.

The entire landscape of Liberty City is covered, with burger bars, police stations, clothes stores and more all mapped out. Of course, there’s no Google Street View function. Did you really expect GTA 4 to run in your browser? For that, head straight back to your console.
